One of the best parts of owning a home is adding touches of your personality in it. And just like people, home trends are always changing! We all want to keep in touch with the new aesthetic without breaking the bank, and we can do that by determining some small changes we can do that would make a huge difference. For instance, since the pandemic began, changes in the way people work and stay at home became big, and experts agree that we will be seeing more of that in 2023! We sourced out a perfect guide for you if you’re interested in upgrading your home in 2023 with or without a budget!

  1. Home Office

More and more people are starting to work from home, and experts say that home offices will be big in 2023! By this, you can either build a room for your office, or just simply upgrade an existing space. Whoever says that creating a home office has to be expensive? Now, we’re here to tell you, you CAN do that without spending much! You just have to prioritize comfort and functionality.

  1. Outdoor living spaces

Since more time is being spent in the corners of our homes, we want to have an extra space to relax and maybe enjoy the weather especially when spring comes, when it’s becoming comfortably warm outside and you just want to see the outdoors turn from dull to colorful again! Add chairs and tables and maybe some grill outside or upgrade your garden!

  1. Energy Efficiency

This should be one of the great things we should all consider in the year 2023, more so in the years to come–Cutting our energy costs and making our homes more eco-friendly. We can do this by the use of solar panels, or even adding insulation and installing energy efficient appliances.

  1. Bathroom & kitchen upgrades

I guess we can all agree that bathrooms and kitchens are the most used area in one’s home. By their functionality, experts say that these two major areas of home are going to be big in renovation this coming 2023! We can expect trends from changing cabinets or even just repainting them, to replacing old appliances.

  1. Accessory Apartments/ Multi Dwelling Residences

Because of increasing real estate costs, more people are considering partnering up with other family members to buy a property and split the home into multiple residences or add accessory apartments.

Even with all these trends coming and going, it is also best to make renovations that would best fit your home personality, and functionality. It’s important to prioritize what works for you and your family. Afterall, a home is still a home so long as it’s filled with love! You don’t have to always feel the need to jump into the bandwagon if it isn’t serving you.
