Charities Supported by Fleet Homes Real Estate

Giving back to the community I love is important to me and my team. We are all in this together, and we know we are in a fortunate position to have so many great clients and such a strong reach. We have supported many charities and give back whenever we can — local and national — but our favorites are the Newton Food Pantry, Project Smile, and Welcome Home. Over the years, my team and I have hosted several successful drives for each collecting everything from canned goods, stuffed animals, and monetary donations.

Welcome Home

Project Smile

Founded in 2003, Project Smile is a federally tax-exempt non-profit organization dedicated to helping people in need through two programs: Smiles for Children and Suits & Smiles.

Smiles for Children donates stuffed animals, coloring books/crayons and children’s books for social workers, police officers, fire fighters and paramedics to give to children. Thousands of children face traumatic events annually. Approximately 7,000 enter foster care each year in Massachusetts and an additional 3,000 children reside in a Massachusetts homeless shelter. Stuffed animals, coloring books, and reading books can be of comfort to a distressed child.

Suits & Smiles provides job interview & work attire for men in need. Many of the men who come to Suits & Smiles are working hard to overcome tremendous personal obstacles. Many are recovering from addiction. Finding employment is an important step on their journey to recovery.
