Everyone who knows me knows how much I love
Newton… I fell in love many years ago, and was so happy when I finally became a resident myself. It is
such a wonderful community in so many ways. To me it’s always felt like a little slice of suburbia, with
its beautiful homes and tree-lined streets, greenery and parks, adorable villages that feel like their
own little communities.. and yet the city of Boston is also at our fingertips. It is truly the best of
both worlds.
Imagine the perfect suburbs: a stone’s throw to the city, plenty of green space, top rated schools,
excellent brunch spots, high end shopping, and a true community feel. Everything you could possibly
want, it’s all right here, in Newton. It’s why I fell in love with it many years ago and I feel so lucky
to now call it home.
Only seven miles west of Boston, you get the proximity to the city with all the fantastic things about
suburban living.
An excellent public school system, active community life, and lots of public transportation available.
And if you need
to drive there’s easy access to both I95 and the Mass Pike. It was also ranked #1 in MA and #12 in the
U.S. as a best
place to live in 2018 (again!).
Foodie? Newton has you covered. Sycamore, Little Big Diner, and Buttonwood are just a few of the dining
hot spots that have people buzzing. Even the neighborhood family friendly restaurant will elevate your
tastebuds. In Newton, grocery shopping moves beyond status quo: from the family-owned Waban Market, to
internationally-focused BazaAr Supermarket, to Whole Foods, residents can satisfy any food craving. As
for coffee shops? No matter if you’re looking for a Starbucks or your local java joint, Newton will make
sure you stay caffeinated.
